HGR Wayback Machine, Anyone?

HGR has a long–and getting longer–history. HGR was the result of the 2012 merger of two outstanding lacrosse organizations, Home Grown Lacrosse in North Andover, and the Raptors lacrosse club, based in Billerica. The original Home Grown organization was founded by our Bryan Brazill back in 2006, 15 years ago!

A very thoughtful videographer, known on youTube as laxrat11, uploaded a handful of Home Grown videos beginning 12 years ago in 2009. At that time, HGR (derived from ‘Home Grown and Raptors’) was just a twinkle in Coach Brazill’s eye, but the merge, 3 years later, was extremely well-received, and an already successful club has grown into the amazing HGR you know now. We’ll be digging around for more vintage HGR material to share, so watch this space.
