Summer season is underway!
Welcome to 2019 Elite Summer Season! We kick off on a beautiful weekend with our High School Girls teams showing their best at UMass Amherst at the IWLCA New England Cup tournament.
Our Green Team hits the field Saturday afternoon at 3:00, facing off on Field 1 against the Gold Star Navy girls. The Blue Team follows at 5:00, also Field 1, against the Outlaws. Games continue all evening with HGR Blue facing 410 West Lacross Black team at 9:00 pm. It will be a gorgeous night for some awesome lacrosse!
On Sunday, catch HGR Green at 9 am on Garber field, followed by our Blue girls at 10.
Get the full tournament schedule HERE. The drive from the North Andover region is between 1.5 and 2 hours–piece of cake and worth the drive on a beautiful weekend! Here are the directions to the UMass Amherst lacrosse fields:
From the North: Route 91 South to Exit 25 – At the end of the ramp turn left and follow the road to the intersection – turn right onto Routes 5 & 10 South – go 1 mile, then left onto 116 South, then eight miles to UMass exit – Left at the end of the ramp onto Massachusetts Avenue then proceed to the second set of lights. Take a left onto Commonwealth Avenue. There is a parking lot just past Boyden. Garber Field is behind Boyden.
From the South: Route 91 North to Exit 19 (Northampton/Amherst) – Right onto Route 9 and go approximately five miles. Take a left onto Route 116 North (across from Staples) and follow for one mile to UMass exit. Take a right off the ramp and then proceed to the second set of lights. Take a left onto Commonwealth Avenue. There is a parking lot just past Boyden. Garber Field is behind Boyden.
From the East: Mass Pike (Route 90) West to Exit 4 (West Springfield) onto Route 91 North to Exit 19 (Northampton/Amherst) – Right onto Route 9 and go approximately five miles. Take a left onto Route 116 North (across from Staples) and follow for one mile to UMass exit. Take a right off the ramp and then proceed to the second set of lights. Take a left onto Commonwealth Avenue. There is a parking lot just past Boyden. Garber Field is behind Boyden.
