Now Accepting Nominations

US Lacrosse is the governing body of lacrosse in this country:

Who We Are

  • More than 450,000 members nationwide
  • More than 80 full-time staff members
  • More than 300 volunteers serving on national boards and committees
  • More than 7,000 donors to the US Lacrosse Foundation

While primarily serving the youth level, US Lacrosse, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, is committed to providing a leadership role in virtually every aspect of the game.

The organization has just announced that they will be accepting for several of their annual awards for youth and high school level lacrosse players “recognizing outstanding players, coaches, officials, and contributors from around the country. Online submissions can be made for Youth Awards, High School Player and Coach Awards, and the Gerry Carroll Award.”

Here is a summary of the awards that are now open for nominations:

High School Awards

These awards for high school boys’ and girls’ players include All-America honors, All-Academic recognition, and the Bob Scott and Jackie Pitts awards. Nominations for high school awards are only accepted from current coaches

Youth Awards

The Youth Awards are given in nine different categories, recognizing coaches, officials, administrators, and other contributors for their dedication in supporting and growing youth lacrosse. A full explanation of each award is available online.

Gerry Carroll Award for outstanding coaches

This award, established in memory of Gerry Carroll, is given annually to one boys’ high school coach nationwide, and measures the success of a coach not in victories but in the care and guidance given to the balanced development of young men who play the game.

Nominations for Youth awards will be accepted until the end of June. Deadlines for High School awards vary by category.
