I guess it’s predictable by now that cancellations are spreading faster than Covid 19. We will let you know if any of HGR’s upcoming clinics will be cancelled or postponed, as soon as they happen. Here’s a bit on how the pandemic is effecting the world of lax:

From US Lacrosse:

In an effort to help mitigate the potential effects of the coronavirus (COVID-19) public health threat, US Lacrosse is postponing all events scheduled through April 5 and is canceling two national events scheduled for May — the Women’s Collegiate Lacrosse Associates (WCLA) National Championships in Round Rock, Texas and the US Lacrosse Women’s National Tournament in Bel Air, Md.

More than 80 percent of the WCLA teams are currently not playing and many have had their seasons canceled, making the ability to conduct the championship unfeasible.

The US Lacrosse Women’s National Tournament was not scheduled until May 23-24, but the majority of regional tryouts for the event were scheduled for the next few weeks. Given the inability to conduct those tryouts for a number of reasons, it was determined the best course of action was to cancel the event rather than provide a sub-optimal experience for participants.

They also have announced a few other postponements and cancellations. CLICK HERE.
As for NCAA, sadly but predictably, they have announced the following:
