Registration has just opened for HGR’s Futsal-Inspired soccer season. The season runs for 7 weeks, January 30th – March 13th. The playing is restricted to U-12 players only.

This program introduces variations on Futsal, a fast-paced game similar to traditional soccer, except:

  • Games are played on a harder surface.
  • It is played on a smaller, indoor field.
  • The ball is smaller, heavier, and less bouncy.
  • Games consist of 2 teams comprised of 5 players per team, one of whom is the goalkeeper, with unlimited substitutions allowed.
  • The ball and rules create an emphasis on improvisation, creativity and technique as well as ball control and passing in small spaces.
